BIO

Octavio Revol Molina was born on March 5, 1981, in Córdoba, Argentina. After an 11-year career in radio broadcasting, he decided to pursue filmmaking and in 2014, he co-founded Cabustra Arts alongside his partner, artist Hora French. That same year, he directed his first short film, Pampa Round, which competed in the international short film selection at the XV edition of the Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre festival. In 2015, he filmed his second short film titled Chaney, which was co-produced and co-directed with his brother Gastón Revol Molina, who joined as the third member of their production company. The short film received international awards in Chile and the United States. In 2016, Octavio directed his first feature film, Animal Moribus, which won the Best Foreign Film award at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards, making it the first Cordobese film to be honored in Hollywood. His second feature film, Grimorio, has garnered awards for Best Director and Best Makeup Effects at various festivals around the world, including the American Golden Picture and Creepy Tree Film Festival. He is currently producing the new film by Oscar-winning Art Director Eugenio Zanetti.
