Ignacio Rogers (Buenos Aires, 1987) is an actor, director, and screenwriter. As an actor, he starred in Como un avión estrellado (Best Actor Award at the Valdivia Festival and Best Argentine Film at the 10th BAFICI), Cómo estar muerto/Como estar muerto, El pasante, Another Silence, Esteros and La dosis. He also co-starred in Excursiones, El crítico and Unidad XV, as well as appearing in various TV shows such as En terapia, El hombre de tu vida, Jóstel, and plays such as El adolescente, El amor es un francotirador, El León en invierno or Tercera expedición. His directorial debut, El diablo blanco, premiered at the 21st BAFICI and was featured in various international film festivals, earning a special mention at the Insólito Festival in Lima and Best Screenplay at the BAM in Colombia and the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana. His short film, Sábado uno, won the Best Short Film award at the 12th BAFICI. Currently, he is developing projects as a screenwriter and director for Turner International, Bahia Cine, and Wanka Cine.
