Marcelo Charras was born in Buenos Aires in 1976. He has directed films such as Maytland, La Paz en Buenos Aires, Memoria de la sangre, and El Dragón through his production company Sociedad Secreta. His projects have been supported by Cinèfondation Festival de Cannes, Hubert Bals Fund, Sundance Foundation, and Berlinale Talent Campus, and have been selected at numerous international film festivals.
