Vera is a former surfer born by the sea, who is entering her fourth month of pregnancy. This journey is her farewell to a life in the water to move onto a life on land. Vera gets excited about an exceptionally cheap plot of land steps away from the sea. However, a recently widowed woman with a baby and a young son lives in a dilapidated house on the property, and after some negotiations, she regrets selling it. Vera contacts a local real estate agent, Suarez, who proposes an immoral act to help her keep the house. Driven by greed, Vera agrees. Suarez then extorts her.
