A very poor family consists of the mother, a former singer who failed in her career; the father, a former butcher who had to close his business after the 2001 crisis; the younger son, who is still struggling to understand his sexuality while also trying to become independent; and the older daughter, who questions her identity and that of her family. They live together in a small house where individual conflicts and frustrations blend with group tensions, creating a lot of stress. This tension triggers a series of events that begin when the daughter starts questioning her identity and that of her parents.
