"Wanderer" is a visual meditation on the return to one's origins, depicted through the documentation of a year-and-a-half solitary journey around the Arctic Circle. The film captures the landscape's transformation across the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter, and then spring again) and the internal fusion with the observed surroundings to facilitate personal transformation. It represents the conquest of home in the sense of reaching the place where one truly belongs. Death is portrayed as an image of transformation, a descent into the realm of the departed, the end of a cycle, and a return to life once again.
