Is there life after death? The specter of Eric Boman (1867 –1924), a Swedish-Argentinian archaeologist and anthropologist, returns to the Andean Puna where he once conducted field studies. There, he wanders through the arid landscapes, reflecting on humanity, its constant and futile struggle against time, and the impossibility of understanding others. His memories and dreams intertwine with his philosophical musings until he encounters another wandering ghost from his past, his former native guide, Pedro Carpanchay. Together, they seal fates.
