A small bus station in the interior of Córdoba province. Those who arrive or depart on the intercity buses are primarily workers. They wait. They come and go with their hopes, with their fatigue. Life at the station is made up of the disruptions caused by the buses' departures and arrivals. The stillness is interrupted, stirred for a brief moment, and then calm returns. What appears perpetually vanishes. Sometimes there’s a trace left behind: a lost item, someone stranded, a futile wait, the mysteries in people’s expressions. And then there are the specters that cinema can capture. Light has its own movement; in its passage, it touches and transfigures everything.
