Henry and Ramón discover that they are two characters in a story that is not about them. They are not co-protagonists, nor even secondary characters. They are just "the boyfriends" of Flor's sisters in Flor's story. In a limbo of characters, waiting for nothing to happen, they will endlessly return to the story to try to sabotage it and, at least once, become protagonists.
