It's Friday night in the city of Buenos Aires. Ruth, 65 years old, blending tradition and liberation, is preparing the Shabbat dinner with her boyfriend Gustavo (a non-Jewish, 40-year-old masseur). As with every Friday, her family comes over for dinner. To her daughters' surprise, Gus will join the dinner that night, triggering discomfort, envy, and anger in the family.
