Hernán Rosselli

BIO

Hernán Rosselli was born in 1979. He studied at the CIEVYC where he specialized in scriptwriting and filmmaking, and in 2002 he enrolled in ENERC where he specialized in film editing. He works as film editor in documentaries and fiction films. in 2013 he created and edited   Las Naves, a cinema publication made in collaboration with the German magazine Revolver. In 2014 he released Mauro at the International Competition of BAFICI, where he won the Fipresci (international prize of flm critics) and Special Prize from Jury and IFFR Bright Future. He participated at the Festival Internazionale di Roma, Viennale, Festival des Tres continentes de Nantes, Cali International Film Festival, among others. Hernán cooperates as a writer for the semester publications of Revista de Cine, directed by Rafael Filippelli and Beatriz Sarlo. In April 2018 he released Casa del Teatro at the offcial BAFICI competition.
He teaches the course Direction II with Ulises Rosell in the Master’s program in Documentary Filmmaking at the Universidad del Cine.
His latest film , Something old, something new, something borrowed was premiered at the Director’s Fortnight in Cannes.2024
