The esteemed actress Norma Reyes accepted every kind of role throughout her career, except that of the perfect mother. As Norma prepares for rehearsals of a mediocre play (which she accepts for fear of no longer working), her daughter Celeste, always overshadowed by her mother's stardom, announces her marriage and plans to move out. Despite the stress of the premiere and the pain of her daughter's departure, Norma pushes forward until an unexpected event halts both their plans; and the daughter seizes this opportunity to shape from scratch the mother she always dreamed of having.
