The 90s. Mauricio, a famous Spanish rock star, travels through Latin America in search of reconnecting with his vocation. There, he meets Don Carlos, an elderly musician in decline who, despite being the author of some of the most famous folk songs in his country, can barely pay his bills. Carlos generously welcomes the strange visitor, serving as a musical Mr. Miyagi. From their meeting, an extravagant quixotic duo is born, with all the signs of being an absolute commercial failure.
