In 2007, Gonzalo was commissioned by his father to make La Giulianada, a film about his family's origins. During the shooting, Gonzalo's vision about the project takes a radical turn. Mandates, appearances, guilt, love and pain are revisited throughout the work, which becomes an essay on lived experience, as well as a process of emotional liberation.
