An elderly couple, survivors of decades of slavery within a powerful enclave in southern Chile, now live in isolation in Patagonia. Their sole purpose is to relive in the present the past they never had, while battling their greatest fear: society's forgetfulness. This documentary story is interwoven with a fictional narrative, where a woman, facing imminent memory loss, ventures into a forest to unearth a secret. Her aim is to seek forgiveness for a lifelong guilt tied to the darkest chapter of Chile's recent history.
