"Lagunas" is a documentary about ghosts. Speaking of them is not an easy task. They are elusive, subtle, and far too personal. In our documentary, they take on the form of an empty lagoon; of the Huarpes who were forced to flee; of a cinema that shut down; of the death of Liliana Bodoc while we were in the editing process. “Last night, I was in the country of ghosts,” Tolstoi said when he went to the cinema for the first time. "Lagunas" is a journey to that country, so that the ghosts can tell us whatever they wish to share.
