Las preñadas tells the journey for help undertaken by Juana and Carmela, two pregnant women, from the outskirts of the neighborhood where they live to hospitals in two cities on the border between Argentina and Brazil. Along this journey, they will encounter a lack of solidarity and the absence and abandonment of the state, which will lead them to discover themselves and create a strong friendship.
