After a near death experience and a long hospitalization, Maria Paz makes a miraculous return, transformed; and seeks to rebuild her always conflictive relationship with her children by bringing them together in her outskirts' country house to spend the New Year holidays. Knowing her, they are not so willing to believe in this new attempt at motherhood, and soon the old and fearsome María Paz takes control again.
